The Sexualities and Genders Alliance (SAGA) is a group within SAHE to explore and find community among folks who identify as having minoritized sexualities and/or gender identities. This includes, but is not limited to, folks who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, aromantic, nonbinary, genderqueer, gender fluid, two-spirit, pansexual, polyamorous, or anyone who is questioning whether they identify with any of these terms. SAGA intends to be a space where members can freely discuss these identities with each other, and SAGA members are simultaneously committed to not “outing” others beyond the group.
In its second year, the mission of SAGA will be enormously shaped by its members, serving as a social, discussion, and support space regarding how these identities affect experiences within SAHE, Fort Collins, and society more broadly. Kodi Phelps (she/her/hers pronouns) and Tyler Fultz (they/them/their(s) pronouns) will be co-coordinating the group this year, but any members can greatly impact the direction and activities of the group.
